Role-Playing Event: A Night At Tassel's Tavern

On a fine summer night there was a joyful event at Tassel's Tavern in North Freeport. It was organized by the mighty Branin Black'Lion.

Quite a few people were present. Many of them were powerful heroes from the distant city of Halas. They wore dazzling armors of all kinds, and wielded mighty weapons. Others were aspiring heroes... Such as members of the Council and of the Fellowship of the Lake. No matter their standing, all were joined in the merriment and exchanged tall tales and beverages of every kind. Many a cheer was given to the kind Branin for organizing this great event, and the participants drank and sang until the wee hours of the night.

Quite a few tales were told that night... Here are the ones I have recorded:

Shortly before the feast, Alruna met with her friends Grast and Rhyannia. They had all traveled to Freeport especially for the night's event.
Things were quiet at first, with Alruna, Grast, Rhyannia and Barret as the only patrons. But soon, deep voices were heard from downstairs. Mighty Barbarian warriors entered the establishment.
The companions met the Barbarians... Lady Lalana...

... Lady Shalara...
... And the famous Branin Black'Lion himself, among others.
Greetings were exchanged, and beverages were served and quickly gulped down. Barrett then stood on a table and started telling his Tale.

The tale depicted the victory Barrett and his companions had won over the vile Ambassador D'Vinn in Crushbone.
The crowd listened to Barrett's tale as if transfixed. And they cheered when they learned of his foe's death!
Ivian then told a mysterious tale of her own.

Which was quickly followd by one of Grast's Ranger tales.
After reciting a poem of her own, Alruna went out to take a quiet stroll with the charming Barrett.
Luckily, she came back in time to hear a great announcement. Her friends Grast and Rhyannia were getting engaged!

The merry crowd cheered at the two lovers and they gazed fondly into each other's eyes.
The feast went on into the wee hours of the night... Until it was at last time to go back to bed!
